How licensing works
Exclusives Only is an exclusive records marketplace. Every record is offered under one Exclusive License — not an ownership transfer. Artists receive the exclusive right to release a commercial song using the instrumental. Producers keep ownership of the underlying composition and participate in its long-term value.
What the artist receives
- Exclusive rights to record and commercially release one song using the instrumental
- Commercial usage rights and digital distribution rights across streaming platforms
- All available master files — MP3, WAV and stems when the producer provides them
- A signed license agreement and branded invoice
- The record is removed from the catalog once licensed
What the producer retains
- Ownership of the underlying musical composition
- Publishing rights and writer share
- Producer credit on the released song
- Royalty participation per the applicable license agreement
